Krystal Scott, MS
I am originally from Texarkana, Texas, and just moved up to Williamsburg, VA to start a life with my fiancé. I have always been passionate about health and wellness and helping others improve their quality of life through healthy habits and lifestyle changes. This led me to pursue a bachelors degree in Family and Consumer Sciences with an emphasis in dietetics from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, AR. I then went on to obtain a master’s of science degree in occupational therapy from LSU Health in Shreveport, La. During my clinical rotations, I gained experience in a variety of settings including an inpatient hospital focusing on rehabilitation for traumatic brain injury and stroke patients. I also had the privilege of working alongside an OT in an outpatient facility that focused on managing chronic diseases and improving health through preventative measures.
Prior to working at LWell, I worked as a registered occupational therapist in a skilled nursing facility where I worked as part of a multidisciplinary team to better care for our patients. However, I am so thankful I crossed paths with LWell where I can help individuals using a holistic approach in order to improve the performance and participation in activities they find meaningful.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my fiancé and our four children as well as our cat and dog. I love being outdoors and playing tennis.
