Miki serves as our point of contact for all patients to achieve life longevity through our services in the roll as LWell Concierge. Hailing from Maryland originally, Miki comes to us with a background in education and multiple volunteer leadership positions. She taught high school and middle school and, as an Army wife, took on the role of Family Readiness Group Leader during multiple deployments. She serves as Fundraising Chair with the local Cub Scouts and is in roles on multiple education boards and committees.
As the Household Manager of Chaos (all boys, even the dog!) she is no stranger to rolling with the punches; which is what she did when diagnosed with Stage 2b Triple Negative Breast Cancer. That battle has fueled her passion for helping other young women diagnosed with breast cancer and is heavily involved with Here for the Girls, a not-for-profit that serves young survivors who help one another through diagnosis, treatment, and beyond. Miki’s most rewarding volunteer role, though, is serving as a lead member on the Camp Kesem Parent Board, another not-for-profit that serves children through and beyond their parent’s cancer.
