Mary Stuart Snyder,MSN,RN

Mary Stuart Snyder, MSN, RN, is a compassionate, master’s-prepared Registered Nurse with more than 25 years of experience in patient care, clinical practice, and nursing education. Her unique educational background combines nursing and nutrition, beginning with a bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition, Foods and Exercise from Virginia Tech, followed by an accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Johns Hopkins University and a Master of Science in Nursing Education from Old Dominion University.

Throughout her nursing career, Mary Stuart has cared for patients in a variety of emergency and surgical settings, with extensive experience in perioperative and recovery nursing. She has also served as a nurse educator in both emergency and surgical services, bringing together her clinical expertise and passion for patient education.

After years of practicing nursing, Mary Stuart is excited to return to her nutrition roots and combine her nursing expertise with her passion for nutrition. At LWell, she is dedicated to providing personalized, compassionate care and empowering patients through education, encouragement, and individualized support. She believes in taking a whole-person approach to health and helping patients work toward their nutrition and weight-loss goals in a sustainable and confident way.

Outside of work, Mary Stuart is a busy mother of two boys. Her own experiences navigating significant health challenges, including infertility and breast cancer, have given her a personal appreciation for the important role nutrition, wellness, and compassionate healthcare can play in a person’s overall health journey.
