Tracy grew up in Central Ohio and graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism (Go Bucks!). She has fond memories of her OSU experiences, including as a staff reporter and photographer for the university’s student paper and as a student intern in the athletic department’s sports information office. Tracy has over 30 years of advertising and marketing experience in retail and healthcare environments including graphic design, media buying, content creation, campaign management, database marketing, and business-to-business marketing.
Tracy is also a child advocate. She volunteers as a court-appointed special advocate (CASA) to give neglected and abused children a voice and a reliable advocate for their needs. She has published a book, Reshuffled, to help inspire and encourage resilience in youth who are living in foster care.
In her spare time, you can find Tracy with her husband, Raouf, and dog, Jaxx, walking and hiking the trails around Hampton Roads. They have two adult daughters for whom they will drop everything whenever they are in town.
