Kate joins our team as the second LWell Concierge. Living in Williamsburg for 26 years, Kate can tell you a lot about the area and what it has to offer. She started her career at 15 years old, working at Water Country USA. However, it wasn’t until she joined the Special Events team at Busch Gardens that she discovered her passion for Event Planning. This led her to pursue a career in Hospitality. Kate planned corporate, social, and high profile events at Kingsmill Resort before leaving to work at Newport News Shipbuilding as their in-house department planner. Kate’s career took a new path when she decided to become a stay-at-home mom or as her GP puts it, a Home Systems Engineer. It is Kate’s sincerity for helping others, attention to detail, and upbeat personality that has brought her back to the workforce and a great addition to our team.

In Kate’s free time she enjoys spending time with her family (she and her husband both come from large families), being outdoors, baking, watching movies, and playing board games with her husband and daughters.
