Kelly Bradley, MD

Weight Loss Specialist

When Dr. Kelly and her family moved to Williamsburg in 2017, they were excited to have finally found their “forever home” after moving countless times in pursuit of her and her husband’s medical training. Little did she know the drastic, life-altering events that would transpire when the COVID-19 pandemic took hold, and how this would change the course of her medical career.

Originally trained as a Diagnostic Radiologist, Kelly earned her medical degree at St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies, then completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY, followed by a Pediatric Radiology Fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, OH. The family then moved to Birmingham, AL, during which Kelly worked as a pediatric radiologist at Children’s of Alabama. Finally, having completed their medical training, the family arrived in Williamsburg and began to settle in, with Kelly deciding to take some time off to get their two young children settled into their new community and be able to be active with school and community activities as the family acclimated to their new life.

Although intended to be a 2-year hiatus from medicine, Kelly’s “time off” was quickly transformed into a years-long journey of lock downs, quarantines, virtual schooling, and general disruption of normal daily life – something we have all been faced with during the events of these past few years. As things gradually returned to “normal,” Kelly realized that her priorities, as most people’s had during these times, had become crystal clear – family and health/wellness were of utmost importance, and if we focus on these two things, everything else in life falls into place.

While Kelly has always had a passion for helping people, which was why she gravitated towards medicine in the first place, she realized that she truly wanted to make an impact in people’s lives – in a hands-on way. With so many of us putting others’ needs before our own, and therefore not taking time to address our own health and wellness, she thought this would be an ideal focus for this new chapter. Helping patients prioritize their health and embark on the life-changing journey of weight loss, with all of the health benefits that will come with it, is something she is beyond excited to have the opportunity to be a part of.

Kelly and her family have fallen in love with Williamsburg and are very active in many areas of the community. Between her and her husband, an Interventional Pain physician at HROSM in New Town, they can usually be found at one of their two children’s sporting events, with their son active in soccer and their daughter in both gymnastics and soccer. Their family takes every opportunity to get outside and enjoy all the area has to offer, including hiking, riding bikes, camping, and anything involving water! She looks forward to helping other members of the community reach their goals and live life to the fullest!
